Situated in the heart of Aix-en-Provence in Southern France, Aix & terra celebrates and reinvents the recipes from traditional Provencal cuisine.

The joy of trying the flavours of Provencal fruits and vegetables, the pleasure of enjoying the wonders of this sun-flooded province, full of colour and seductive scents, the desire to share simple beautiful and quality products, to cultivate a warm and jovial lifestyle, have resulted in a special niche gourmet brand and a grocery store in the heart of Aix-en-Provence Aix & terra.

Aix & Terra’s different product flavours developed by their artisans express themselves naturally. Like the variegated hues of regional markets, ranges come in colour schemes in contemporary and stylish packaging.

Every recipe tells a story, offers a range of sensations and tasty discoveries, often unusual, always subtle: Like the mellow Artichoke spread or piquant Red Bell Pepper dip, Eggplant Caviar à la Black Winter Truffle, Camargue salt à la Ratatouille, or Melon Jam au Pastaga.

The team of Aix & terra travels across Provence – from Drôme to the French Riviera through the Camargue – in search of the best products made by local artisans and with them, they then invent different flavours and scents. Out of this cooperation original new creations are born, all prepared with natural ingredients.

Beautifully located, the Aix & terra shop overlooks Aix-en-Provence’s Place Richelme. The oldest square of the city, “Marcat dou” (Provencal market), houses many treasures of Aix’s heritage: the Halle aux Grains, the Hotel Arbaud and sculptures by Rambot, the ancestral home of moralist Vauvenargues and the Fontaine du Sanglier, a replica of the famous Il Porcellino fountain in Florence.

Each day, the square hosts a bustling Provencal market. Colours, scents, laughter … a refined and joyful atmosphere that reflects the Southern lifestyle under the blazing sun or in the shade of the trees.

With its warm colours, chic and glamorous design interior, groceries Aix & Terra is a popular stopover for Provencal gourmets and gastronomes from all backgrounds, who gladly make a detour to bring home in their baskets Aix & Terra’s culinary creations. In summer, you can buy ice-creams with unusual flavours: Basil, Calissons, Strawberry Senga … from a cart installed in front of the shop.
