I’ve always believed that some of the best stories begin with a journey—and that the most memorable journeys often lead to a table.
For me, travel, food, and wine are inseparable. They’re about discovering a place through its flavours, meeting the people who bring those flavours to life, and slowing down long enough to appreciate the details. A great meal can tell you something about a culture. A bottle of wine can capture a landscape, a season, and the hands of the person who made it. And sometimes, the most unexpected moments on the road become the stories you remember for years.
This website is my way of sharing that curiosity.
I’ll take you along to places that inspire me, introduce you to people whose passion deserves to be celebrated, and share the restaurants, dishes, wines, hotels, and experiences that make a destination special. But I’m not interested in simply checking places off a list. I want to get beneath the surface—to understand what makes somewhere worth visiting and what makes a meal worth remembering.
There will be beautiful destinations and unforgettable meals and bottles, of course, but there will also be the imperfect, spontaneous moments that make travel real: a wrong turn that leads somewhere wonderful, a long lunch that stretches into the afternoon, or a conversation with a stranger that changes the way you see a place.
Ultimately, this is a celebration of curiosity, pleasure, and the joy of discovering something new.
