The wine from the land of Soria. First year of vintage: 2009

Antídoto is a wine coming from a mosaic of 550 old vine plots of land mainly made of pebbles, located in the Soto de San Esteban area. It has a yield production of 3500 kilos per hectare in the eastern part of the DO Ribera de Duero in Soria.

The sandy soil with river stones provides Antídoto with an intense and spring-like aroma and a delicate and vertical mouth-feel.

Robert Parker:
I also tasted an unbolted barrel sample of the 2020 Antidoto, a blend of 96% Tinto Fino and 4% Albillo that had a short maceration and has been in 600 liter oak barrels (only 5% of them new) since January 2021. It looks like a superb vintage for this wine that still shows the wild and faintly herbal side that makes me think of a Northern Rhone – juicy and very fine with chalky tannins and a dry and varietal finish. This is a little like 2018, approachable and understandable from early on. Volumes will grow in 2020.” 92-93 Points
