ORIGIN
La Rioja is one of Spain’s most famous wine regions and divided into three zones: Rioja Alta, Rioja Oriental and Rioja Alavesa. The wines are mostly red, made from berry-scented grapes such as Garnacha and Tempranillo, and the vineyards run along the banks of the Ebro River, which stretches for around 100 kilometers.

Founded in 1881 by Félix Azpilicueta Martínez, a very relevant winemaker in La Rioja. He was one of the first exporters of Rioja wines. This winery has become one of the benchmarks for Rioja wines around the world.
