Bodegas Burgo Viejo in prominent wine region La Rioja is recognised by some of the most prestigious international competitions, such as Decanter, International Wine Challenge and Mundus Vini, as one of the best wineries in Spain.

BonV proposes the Burgo Viejo Crianza, made with the following grape varieties: Tempranillo and Graciano

Tasting note: Garnet colour with ruby tones; balance between black fruits and balsamic notes from the varieties and the vanilla provided by the American oak. On the palate it is silky, powerful and complex.

Consumption recommendations: Service temperature: 14 – 16°C.

Pairing Recommendations: Combine with all kinds of red meats and cheeses.

‘I find balance, seriousness and some restraint in the 2018 Crianza. It has moderate alcohol and contained ripeness, integrated oak and a polished palate with fruit and spice flavors that make it quite recognizable as Rioja. It has some tannins that would welcome food and/or a little bit more time in bottle.’ 90 points
